The U.S. Diversity Visa Lottery Program, which is a government-sponsored annual program makes more than 50,000 immigrant visas available worldwide to persons from countries to live and work in the USA, with lower rates of immigration to the United States.

If you participated in the DV-2019 then you need to check your status before the closing date using your confirmation information through the link below

The official portal for the 2019 Diversity Visa Lottery Program Entrant Status Checker opened at noon (EDT) on May 15, 2018.

The DV-2019 entry period opened on October 18, 2017, and closed on November 22, 2017. Only confirmation information for entries submitted during this period is valid for checking your status. DV-2019 Entrants should keep their confirmation number until September 30, 2019.

The U.S. Department of State Electronic Diversity Visa Entrant Status Check for DV-2019 applicants is available until September 30, 2019. While the Entrant Status Check for DV-2018 applicants will remain open until September 30, 2018.

How t use the Electronic Diversity Visa Entrant Status Check website

Step 1. Visit the official website provided by the U.S. Department of State Electronic Diversity Visa. On the page there are information you need to read regarding the deadline for checking Entrant Status online, Although that information we have as well included on this page (above).

Step 2. On the main page for Entrant Status checker, the first thing you are meant to type in is the confirmation number that was given when you applied. The DV lottery confirmation code should start with either 2019 or 2018 since those are the year this page is focusing on.

Step 3. On the next box, you will Provide the Last/Family Name that was used on the Diversity Visa Lottery Form, including punctuation.

Step 4. While the next box after is to also Provide the year of birth for the primary entrant. Not the month or day. Rather you enter the year you were born and it has to be the same information provided during the Electronic Diversity Visa registration.

Step 5. To prove you are not a robot accessing the “www.dvlottery.state.gov/ESC/” then you will have to Type the characters as they appear in the picture. Please note that it’s upper and lower case sensitive.

Step 6. You can now click the “Submit” button. Then wait a while for the page to fetch your data and show your status.

 

Please note that DV-2019 entries submitted between October 18, 2017, and November 22, 2017 are also valid for checking your status. DV-2019 entries submitted before October 18 are invalid.
