Anambra News: Federal Civil Servants in Anambra State want Government to address the issues impeding the payment of promotion arrears as well as inconsistencies in the payment of workers’ salaries.
They have also canvassed for the decentralization of promotion interviews as well as the correction of problems of salary underpayment associated with the introduction of the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System, IPPIS and assessment of contributions to the National Housing Fund.
The workers made the plea in Awka at an interactive session organized by the Office of the Head of the Service of the Federation for federal Civil servants in Anambra State.
Radio Nigeria correspondent reports that the event attracted Heads of Federal Establishments and Parastatals in the State.
