The Barclays EPL awards for the month of February have been released. There were awards given for the best manager of the month, player of the month and goal of the month. The month of February witnessed three premier league matches for the EPL teams. The people who are award were those who did exceptionally well in the month under review. There were wins for Tottenham, Manchester City and Chelsea.
In the Barclays EPL awards for the month of February, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, Tottenham striker Harry Kane and Chelsea star Eden Hazard picked the English Premier League February Awards for Manager of the Month, Player of the Month and Goal of the Month respectively.

The Barclays EPL awards for the month had winners for the best manager, best player and best goal of the month categories.
Manager of the month
Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola wins the manager of the month award. The Spanish coach who took over the club for this season has had his fair share of the challenges. This marks his Manager of the month award in the English topflight league. Guiding Manchester City to three consecutive wins, the team scored 8 goals and conceded just two. He won 4-0 win away at West ham, 2-1 home win against Swansea and seeing Bournemouth 2-1 at Vitality Stadium. Guardiola beat Manchester United’s Jose Mourinho, Chelsea’s Antonio Conte and West Brom’s Tony Pulis to the award.

Player of the month
It was Dele Alli in January and Harry Kane in February. Such has been the impact and consistency of the Tottenham team this season. Kane scored four goals in three matches and provided an assist. He defeated five other contenders: Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus and David Silva, West Bromwich Albion defender Gareth McAuley, Hull City goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic and Romelu Lukaku, the Everton forward to win the player of the month. The 23yr old English forward is currently the EPL top scorer with 19 goals to date. Will Kane win the competition from Everton’s Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez, Diego Costa and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to retain the golden boot he won last season. This is his fourth player of the month award having won in January and February, 2015 and March 2016.
In the Barclays EPL awards, Chelsea’s Eden Hazard emerged the clear winner. His solo strike against Arsenal on February 4th was a beauty to behold. He has 11 goals this season after managing a meagre 4 goals last season. It has been a very fruitful season for the Belgian following last season’s dip in form. Hazard defeated the likes of Lukaku, Mkhitaryan, Sigurdsson, Lanzini, Brady, Drinkwater and Kane who were all shortlisted.
