Yahoo Mail which has been in existence since 1997, is a free web-based email service, with the provision to communicate (via email) faster, and store information such as files, media, etc.
Among other top e-mail services such as Gmail, Outlook, and Yandex mail, including meaning others, Yahoo Mail gives up to 1TB of online storage, with only AOL Mail standing out with unlimited storage. Check that out here.
This means that you can store more important emails (without deleting them) and files on your yahoo account, irrespective of the email extension you use.
As you step further to create a Yahoo account, you will be seeing various yahoo mail extensions like the yahoo.com, ymail.com, and rocketmail.com domains.
It is all about choice, the one you selected doesn’t provide any special or additional feature to your Yahoo mail account.
Create A Yahoo Account
You can create a Yahoo account seamlessly through the Yahoo official mobile app and web browser. The steps and requirements remain the same across every device you intend to use to create a new Yahoo account.
For example, you’ll need to provide a password, date of birth, and mobile number, then select your email username choice – Sometimes Yahoo automatically generates those yahoo user IDs using your Name or you can create a fresh one just in case you dislike any of its suggestions.
