Before that, what is Eventbrite?

Eventbrite is an international platform that allows you to create, share and search for events. That is to say, the platform allows you to create your own events and make them public. It also allows you to search for events that you want to attend whether in your locality or any other place you want to.

There is no limit to the types of events you can create on Eventbrite. You can create events that range from conferences, online programs, physical events, festivals, drama shows, to fundraising etc.

How Does Eventbrite Work?

This is very simple. To be able to use this platform to create your events, you must first and foremost, create an account with them.

Create An Event With Eventbrite

1. Visit www.eventbrite.com. To the far right, click on “Create an event”
2. Then, you will be shown the page to create your own account (if you haven’t created one. We will show you how below).
3. But, if you already have an account, you can easily log into your account.
4. Once this is done, you will see a page for the event creation.
5. Select the category of event you want to create. Click on “next”.
6. Then, type in the name of your event and click “next”.
7. Next is to select your event location. If the event is offline, you will type in the location. If it’s yet to be announced, select it. Then, you can also select the online “option”.
8. You will then select the event date: “when it starts and when it ends”.
9. You can upload the event logo and or fliers. This is optional though.
10. Choose your ticket type: Free, paid or donation.
11. Fill in other needed details.
12. Once you are done with this, then, select the “Make Event Live Option”.

How To Create Eventbrite Account

1. visit the Eventbrite portal here: https://www.eventbrite.com/signin/
2. Enter your email address and click on “Get started”.
3. Then, the signup form will open.
4. Type in your email again, your name and then your password.
5. Finally, click on “signup” and your account is created.
