Eden Hazard has won the Barclays Premier League, Player of the Month of October. The EPL player and manager of the month award is given to the best player and manager of the month under review. This month’s awards has gone to Chelsea’s playmaker, Eden Hazard and the Manager of the Month award goes to Antonio Conte.
Hazard has been in impressive form. He scored three goals and registered an assist Chelsea, who won all four of their games without conceding in October, including the 4-0 demolition of Manchester United.

The Chelsea playmaker trumped his Chelsea teammates Diego Costa and N’Golo Kante to the award, as well as Liverpool’s man of the moment Philippe Coutinho, Manchester City’s most impressive summer signing Ilkay Gundogan, Burnley’s goalkeeper Tom Heaton and Stoke City’s Joe Allen.
Antonio Conte also won the Manager of The Month award. The Chelsea Italian who is his first season in England led Chelsea to four consecutive clean sheet victories in October. Conte navigated victories over Leicester City, Manchester United Southampton and Everton.
For Conte, the stunning form came after he adopted his familiar 3-4-3 formation following the 3-0 defeat to Arsenal in September. The formation yielded 11 goals, four clean sheets and a maximum return of 12 points.

In winning the Manager of the Month, Conte became the sixth Chelsea manager to win the award after Claudio Ranieri, Jose Mourinho, Avram Grant, Carlo Ancelotti and Rafael Benitez. He is also the fifth Italian, after Ranieri, Ancelotti, Roberto Di Matteo and Roberto Mancini.
Conte defeated three other candidates which include Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp, Stoke City’s Mark Hughes and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
