The EPL week 14 was very eventful. It was filled with goals, surprises and the unexpected. Chelsea maintained their grip on the top of the log with a comprehensive 1-3 win at the Etihad. The weekend was started with a top-of-the table clash between Manchester City and Chelsea at the Etihad. The match lived up to expectations as it delivered a mouth-watering encounter. The Citizens were defeated 1-3 by a Chelsea counter-attacking masterpiece. The match was ended with a fracas caused by Aguero’s nasty tackle on Luiz.

Manchester United was again held to a 1-1 draw by Everton. Substitute Maroune Fellaini conceded a penalty and Baines duly converted in the 89th minute leaving Manchester United and Mourinho frustrated again. United is still lagging behind in 6th place, 13pts behind Chelsea. Leicester City also suffered a shocking 2-1 defeat to Sunderland. This continues their frustrating title defence. Sunderland keeps pushing up the league table.
It was a goal fest as Arsenal dismantled West Ham 5-1. Alexis Sanchez was on fire. He plucked away a 14-mins hat-trick. West Ham is currently with 12ts in 17th position. Arsenal is 3pts behind Chelsea in second place with 31pts. Liverpool simply imploded against Bournemouth. Leading 2-0 by half time and 3-1 by 75mins, Liverpool inexplicably lost 4-3 to Bournemouth. Missing the services of Coutinho, the Reds could do nothing to prevent Nathan Ake from bundling in a 93rd minute winner.
Tottenham and Harry Kane were on song as they dissected Swansea City. The match ended 5-0. Harry Kane was back amongst the goals with 2. Stoke City defeated Burnley 2-0 at home. Crystal Palace trumped Southampton 3-0. WestBrom defeated Watford 3-1. Middlesbrough and Hull City will complete the week 14 fixtures with a Monday Night Football.
