What Next After the Application is Completed?
Beginning with your application, the Records Management Team at Guinness World Records HQ will examine it. - Your evidence is also required to be submitted online via your online GWR account.
- After a successful attempt, you should hear from the team between two weeks to a month for the GWR to officially recognize you and possibly hand over the GWR certificate to you.
What is the cost of applying for the Guinness World Records?
There is now no charge associated with submitting an application for a Guinness World Record. It is entirely uncharged to do so.
However, there is a £5/$5 (plus VAT) non-refundable cost if you’re requesting a record that hasn’t been tried or isn’t in the GWR database.
