How to Create The White House Petition Account
- On your mobile or computer browser navigate to https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/

- Fill the form. The registration form is so simple that only your full name (first name & last name), email address and then prove you are a human by answering a simple question.
- Then click “Create Account”.

Also you have to provide a Description which further define the goal of your petition. You have to ensure that the description is 800 characters or less. Include additional information or research to support your request.
Choose Tags between 1 and 3 tags to help categorize what petitions you are submitting. This will help others better understand how it relates to the issues the administration works on.
Review and Publish: Once published, you will not be able to edit your petitions, so be sure to double-check for spelling, punctuation, grammar, and meaning.
Please note that petitions on the We the People site will be moderated. Some petitions may be removed from the site consistent with the Terms of Participation.
With We the People, you can easily create a petition online, and after you publish your petition, start to share or promote it, and collect signatures. If you gather 100,000 signature in 30 days, The White House reviews and responds to your petition by making sure it gets in front of the appropriate policy experts, and issue an official response.
