INEC to extend distribution of Permanent Voter Cards

The distribution of the Permanent Voter Cards is to be extended by a few days, to the commencement of next month’s election.

At a forum organised by the African Policy Research Institute, the Chairman of the Independent Electoral Commission, Professor Attahiru Jega said the Commission has put in place measure to ensure that the Permanent Voter Cards are distributed up to the ward levels to avoid disenfranchisement of voters.
