Interswitch Webpay Registration

If you want to carry out the Interswitch webpay registration, then, here is your guideline.

  1. Visit the interswitch registration portal https://connect.interswitchng.com/.
  2. Click on “Get Started”. Read and understand the features and steps.
  3. You should see list of WebPay tools and channels. Select the one best for you, then Fill the webpay registration form.
  4. Finally, click on create account.
  5. Next, move to your email and open the link sent to you.
  6. Use the link and complete your registration online.

Interswitch webpay registration Fees

There is a one-time integration fee of N150,000 and for every subsequent successful transaction, a fee of 1.5% of the value of the transaction subject to a cap of N2,000 is charged. (i.e. for transactions below N133,333, a fee of 1.5% applies), and N2,000 flat fee (for transactions above N133,333).

WebPAY Integration Options

After carrying out the WebPay registration, the next is to choose the integration options you prefer. There are 4 integration options available to merchants once payment and the requisite documents have been submitted to Interswitch. The integration option selected by a prospective customer may impact the Go-Live timelines of your website on WebPAY. Prospective merchants may choose one of the integration options below.

1. CWIPsIntegration to WebPAY using an InterSwitch Certified WebPAY Integration Partner (CWIP) at no extra cost. See the current list of CWIPs
2. Self IntegrationIntegration using your own website developer. Review the integration overview to achieve this. Note that you can also use the demo merchant details provided allows you to start testing your code and integration immediately
3. WebShopIntegration using WebShop Shopping Cart which is already integrated into WebPAY
4. Open Source PluginsDetails on how to use Plugins for the various web shopping carts and various management systems such as Vamcard, Joomla, Magento, Prestashop, OsCommerce, WordPress, WooCommerce and Opencart for WebPAY built by Project Angle can be viewed here

InterSwitch WebPay Merchant Acceptance Requirements

The following are the requirements expected of you. They include:

1You must have the Interswitch logo on your site to differentiate our payment services from other ones you might have
2The customer must be aware of the total amount he/she will be debited of before loading the payment page. Always inform the customer duly
3Are customers on your website registered? If not, then you need to communicate their transaction reference numbers to them before they make payment so that they will have a reference value in case they have issues with their transactions. The recommended ways of communicating these details are Email, SMS or Display it boldly on the website and ask them to take note of it.
4Confirm that the amount displayed on the payment page is the same amount that was displayed to the customer before redirecting to the payment page. Customer Id and Customer Name should be passed to prevent the payment page from loading with “Anonymous”
