Checking JAMB Results through SMS (Without an Internet)

I guess this’s one development many JAMB-bits have been longing to see – to check their results through an SMS. Here it comes;

• No internet needed
• Can use any kind of phone (a smart or smallest version of the phone (touch phone)),
• Charges N50 per SMS
• can check as many times, as long you have N50 for each SMS.
• Check result by SMS using any Nigeria Network or call Sim, but must be registered with JAMB during registration.

JAMB said that effective from when it would officially release the results, all candidates can simply send RESULT, via SMS, to 55019 using the same number that was used during registration.

The result, it said, would be replied as an SMS shortly after.

This process, the board explained, was simplified to eliminate exploitation by business centres and cyber cafés who often take advantage of candidates.

How to Check JAMB UTME Result By SMS

1. A phone, and the number you used while registering for the exam

2. Send an “SMS” with the word “RESULT” to 55019

3. You will get a response with your JAMB Results.

4. Shortly after, The result will be replied as an SMS.

The out come of the result comes in THREE responses. You either see your scores or withhold respons or that your result is not yet ready

Online portal For Checking JAMB UTME Results

The process remains the same way, you make sure to remember your email address, phone number and/or JAMB registration number.

Step 1. Go to JAMB UTME e-Registration Portal here: http://www.jamb.org.ng/eFacility

Step 2. When the page loads up, Login and click on the box ”Check the year UTME Examination Results” that you want to check for.

Step 3. Your score will be displayed on your computer screen or it will display “You Do Not Have Any Result Yet“.
