The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) has recently released List of Football Legends of All Time this year and good to know that Pele and Ronaldo da Lima still topping the list, and a surprising thing to also hear is that Nwankwo Kanu of Nigeria was named in the top 48 legend of football worldwide.
FFHS were formed in 1984 under FIFA’s approval and they focus on archiving football records, statistics and records of associations across the globe.
History made it clear that Nwankwo Kanu was the last Nigerian to win the CAF African Footballer of the Year award in 1999.
