Types of Nigerian Passport Booklets
There are two kinds of booklets obtainable in the immigration office when applying for the Nigerian International Passports, they are as follows;
- The 32-page passport booklets and
- The 64-page passport booklets
The 32-page passport booklets: simple are booklets that contains 32 pages where stamps will be placed on when you are going out and coming into a country. So after the 32-page passport booklets is filled with stamps you have to apply for a renewal. If you are not a regular traveler then its better to go for this because when it expires whether u have used it or not you will still have to renew your passport which new booklet will be printed again for you.
While The 64-page passport booklets is also a 64 pages booklets where stamps are placed on as you enter and go out of any countries you travel to. Requirements For Nigeria Passport
There basic requirements for issuance of E-Passport to person below 18years old and between 18years-60years old. If you are between 18years-60years old here are things to note as the requirements for Nigeria
Between 18years-60years old:
- Birth Certificate or sworn declaration of age obtained from any court of competent jurisdiction.
- Letter of Identification from your “Local Government Area” chairman or secretary.
- Two (2) Recent coloured passport photographs.
- Duly filled guarantor’s from-sworn to before a high court judge. Please note that the Garantor MUST possess any TWO (2) of the underlisted documents:
(a) A valid E-passport
(b) A valid National Identity Card
(c) A valid National driver’s licence
(d) Voters Card
Including TWO (2) recent passport photograph should be included along side with garantor’s documents.
- If You are a married woman applying for e-Passport then you have to present a marriage certificate or affidavit of marriage from the court.
If you are person below 18years old:
- Birth Certificate or National population commission (NPC) registration of birth.
- Letter of Identification from your “Local Government Area” chairman or secretary.
- Two (2) Recent coloured passport photographs.
- Letter of consent from both parents with their TWO (2) passport photographs and photograph of their identity or international passport.

How To Apply Nigeria E-Passport In Nigeria
You have to understand that procedures here is an offline application for e-passport in Nigeria. So here is the process if you are applying for the first time:

No3. Now after filling the form correctly, you will have to attach an original copy of your “Date of Birth Certificate” and “Local Government of Identity certificate”. A photocopy will be made to attach with the form you filled then your original copy of your documents will be given to you back.

No5. Your form will then be submitted for approval, where by you will be called upon for the biometric and image acquisition.

How Long It Takes To Collect Your E-Passport Booklet
