We have been following the nPower news lately to provide Nigerians with an accurate information on what may be happening in NPower 2020 Recruitment.

On Jun 19, 2020, which is last week as at when this post was released, The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq confirmed in her statement that the Batch A and B N-Power beneficiaries will exit the scheme June 30 and July 31 respectively.

She also made it known that a total of 500,000 beneficiaries was selected into the nPopwer programme, of which 200,000 was from Batch A which started in September 2016 and 300,000 from Batch B which kicked off in August 2018. And till date they where still beneficiaries of the nPower Nigeria empowerment programme.

accourding to her that the beneficiaries were supposed to spend 24 months on the programme but Batch A beneficiaries have spent over 40 months, thus was the fg directive for them to have stayed this far.

New Plans for the Previous Batch A & B Beneficiaries

According to her, that they have commenced the transitioning of beneficiaries from Batches A & B into government entrepreneurship schemes and engaging private sector bodies to absorb some of the beneficiaries after the completion of psychometric assessment to determine competency and placement into various opportunities.

Also noted that the Ministry has announced that Batch A will exit June 30, 2020 and Batch B will exit the programme on July 31, 2020.

About 2020 Npower Nigeria Online Registration

The enrolment exercise for a new group (Batch C) of N-Power beneficiaries is to begin on June 26, the Federal Government announced on Friday.

It said the online portal for the programme would be open for applications from noon on June 26, adding that all applicants must supply their Bank Verification Numbers for transparency.
