Now, understand this; your transaction will defiantly go in TWO ways.
- Providing services or selling which you will be paid for. This could be either local or international services – there are separate charges on each.
- Transferring your earned (accumulated) money to your account.
So in either ways – Paystack has its charges.

Requirements for Creating and Using Paystack Payment Integration Account
To Sign up for Paystack Payment Integration service you need to first ensure that your country is allowed to do so.
Afterwards, just like other online registration platforms, the data needed are;
– Business name
– Full name

– Phone number and your password
Then an option to select if you’re a software developer or not. Your choice won’t affect, change or limit any Paystack features.
Now, let’s go to the registration process.
How to Create Paystack Payment Integration Account
- Go to Paystack official website – www.paystack.com. Already the website will automatically detect your country
- Click on the ‘Create a free account button
- Fill out your detail correctly.
On getting to ‘Password’ Your password must contain at least;
- one lowercase letter
- one uppercase letter
- one special character
- one number
- minimum of 8 character
- Indicate if you you are a software developer or not. After that, click on ‘Create My Account’
Email verification:
- Paystack will send a notification to your email you submitted. Log in to your email and

- Click on the button (Verify email address) or link in your email. You’ll then be redirected to the Paystack login page – you should also see a green notification message (at the top of the page) acknowledging that your email address is successfully verified.
- Now you can re-log into your new Paystack account.
You will be redirected to your Paystack dashboard. Your Paystack will be in ‘test mode’ because you still have more information to submit to activate your account for ‘live payment‘.
You should also see the same notification when you first log in to the Paystack dashboard. Click on the ‘Got it’ to start filling the form.

Completing Registration Process to make account go Live:

– Profile Data

– Account
– Document
Profile: This has to do with the submission of your full name and registered business. Other data to also submit here includes the number of your staff, category of your business,
Contact: here you’ll provide more detailed information on how your customer can always reach out to your company. There is an option to use (by checking the boxes) the general email address (which is the email used to sign up Paystack) for support and disputes. Then the next part of the page is your company’s Registered Address; you’ll provide your country, state, city, and street address, and possibly Apartment or House address. Uncheck the box ‘Use registered address’ to fill out your office address if the address is different from your business registered address.
Account: Here you will be providing your business Bank account detail, which includes bank name, account number and name on the account. The account provider allows you to find your bank name. Please note that at this point, you can input a personal bank account if you haven’t opened a business bank account. Learn how to open a company bank account here.
Documents: Here is the final stage to unlock your account from the ‘Test Mode”. Because your business is registered, you will be uploading its documents and that includes the Form CAC 1.1, Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum and Article of Association, RC number, and TAX Identification Number. Then depending on the number of directors (base on your initial selection on the type of business), you also need to provide the information of director(s) of your business.
The ‘Activate Business‘ button will become active (clickable) once you’ve completed the FOUR stages. Click on the button “Activate Business’.

Now your account will be reviewed within 24hours for the final activation and full functionality of your Paystack account. But for now, you should see your account application status as ‘Pending’.
