There are two ways to register for this 894 service. One is for the users of any FirstBank debit card(s), while the other process is for people without debit card (s).
If you have an existing FirstBank debit card(s) linked to your account(s):
- Simply dial *894*0#
- A list of masked debit card numbers linked to your account is displayed
- Select your preferred debit card
- Enter the 4-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) for the selected debit card (the ATM pin)
- Create a new 5-digit PIN
- Your number is now LIVE on the FirstBank USSD Quick Banking Service
If you do not have a FirstBank debit Card
- Simply dial; *894*0#
- Provide your 10-digit FirstBank account number
- Create a new 5-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN)
- Your number is now LIVE on the FirstBank USSD Quick Banking Service

Without the debit card (ATM card) you will not able to register for the *894# services. You can go to any First bank and ask them to link your account for you Ma.
I try to check My account balance with the banking code ( *894*00#) but, the respond was I have no account.what can I do?

If you have done all that correctly and you still get the same error, please visit any First Bank branch around you to internally check what might be going wrong.
The number I use to register for this code is no longer existing but I want to re-register with my other number.please how can I do it because I don’t have the time now to go to the bank
If the new number you want to use is linked to the account in question, you can use the *894# and re-register it. If not, you would have to go to bank and add the new number.
