Since the The Senate has finally completed the screening and confirming of Buhari’s 36 nominees for Ministers on Thursday, October 29. Nigerians are now waiting to get information on Buhari’s Schedule Date to Swear in Ministers & Allocation of Portfolios.
From the information we had gather from today, President Buhari is likely to swear in appointed ministers on Wednesday, November 4th. And at the same time allocate portfolios to them all.
The president is also likely to assign the ministers their various portfolios on November 4, according to Daily Trust.
“The first major official assignment before Mr President in November is the inauguration of his cabinet. Arrangements have already been made for this and this [will] most likely happen on Wednesday,” a presidency source said.
An aide to a ministerial candidate also reportedly confirmed the news.
“The inauguration is taking place Wednesday next week, according to what I heard my boss saying this (yesterday) afternoon,” the aide said, according to Daily Trust.
