The group operates in all sectors of the economy, with a focus on oil and gas, banking and finance, media and publishing, real estate, trading, manufacturing, insurance and tourism. He served as the governor of Abia State, Nigeria from May 29, 1999, to May 29, 2007. Kalu headed First International Bank Limited at the age of 33. Prior to his election, he served as the chairman of the Borno Water Board and the chairman of the Cooperative and Commerce Bank Limited.

2. Donald Duke

5. Abubakar Sani Bello

He is the current Niger State Governor and the second richest Governor in Nigeria 2018. Also, he occupied the first position in 2016 but was dethroned by Okorocha. He was born 17th December, 1967. 8. Malam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai

Also the former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja from 16 July 2003 to 29 May 2007. he and his wife run the Yasmin El-Rufai Foundation (YELF), set up to honour their daughter who died in 2011.

9. AbdulFatah Ahmed

He was elected Governor of Kwara State in the 26 April 2011 elections. Prior to his elections, he was a banker and public servant. He was a lecturer in Organic Chemistry and later Acting Head of Department at Federal College of Arts and Science, Sokoto, in Sokoto State (1986–1990). He became an Assistant Manager at District Savings and Loans, Lagos (1991–1993). In 1993, he started work with Guaranty Trust Bank in the Credit and Marketing Unit. In 1998, he moved to Societe Generale Bank Nigeria as a Senior Manager/Group Head, Consumer Banking. Later, he became Public Sector Group for the North West region.

10. Akinwunmi Ambode

Akinwunmi Ambode is the current governor of Lagos state. He also has a master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos, and he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Ambode was awarded the Fulbright Program scholarship for the Hubert Humphries Fellowship Programme in Boston, Massachusetts. He also attended the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania for Advanced Management Programme.
