The Top 50 Brands Nigeria 2017 Ranking has been offoicially released ad we are here to list all of them for you. For this year 2017, MTN Nigeria is the number 1 brand. Dangote Group and Coca-Cola came second and third respectively. Who else made this list of the top 50 brands Nigeria 2017? You will find out more as you read on.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Top 50 Brands Nigeria, Taiwo Oluboyede, has the folloeing to say: “To achieve the 50 top brands in Nigeria, we use the Brand Strength Measurement (BSM), a specially designed model that takes basic qualitative elements to determine brand valuation and strength. The model checks consumer’s knowledge of a brand using the top on the mind survey. It’s largely observed that consumers were able to recall brands they relate with often, whose product/services they also use”.

Conoil took 50th position on the ranking. GTBank ranked as the highest banking brand while coming 4th on the overall. They were followed by First Bank and Zenith Bank as second and third banks in Nigeria, but 5th and 6th on the overall ranking. Glo features in the 7th position, making it the second behind MTN in the telecommunication sector. Airtel is 3rd but 10th overall while 9mobile is positioned n the 34th position.
