UEFA Champions League Quarter Final Draw 2019 – Full Fixtures

After the drama of the round of 16, we are here in the quarter final stages of the 2019 Champions League. The competition this season has thrown up many surprises. Of course, we have been made to always expect the unexpected. One of the surprises is that the 3-time consecutive defending Champions Real Madrid will not be in the UEFA Champions League Quarter Final Draw 2019. They were eliminated by Ajax.

In the round of 16, we had lots of twists and turns and comebacks. Manchester United became the first-ever team to qualify after losing the first leg 2-0 at home. No team has ever overturned a 2-0 first leg home defeat. But they did. Against PSG. Man City thrashed sorry Schalke 04 7-0 to win 10-2 on aggregate.

Also, a Cristiano Ronaldo-inspired Juventus oveturned a 2-0 away defeat against Atletico Madrid 3-0 (3-2 aggregate). That is what CR7 gives to his team anytime, any day. Messi wasn’t to be left out as he led Barca with 2 goals and 2 assists to trounce Lyon 5-1 at the Camp Nou.

Bayern were defeated 1-3 at home by the energetic Klopp-led Liverpool team. After drawing goalless away, Bayern had the advantage but failed to make it count. Roma also lost out to FC Porto with a 4-3 aggregate score. The winner coming in extra time. So, who faces who in the UEFA Champions League Quarter Final Draw 2019?

In a new development, the draw for the semifinals have already beem fixed as well. So, each teams know who they will face if they qualify. So, here is the pathway to the finals .

Semis:

• Tottenham or Manchester City vs Ajax or Juventus
• Barcelona or Manchester United vs Liverpool or Porto

Timings:

• The quarter-final first legs will be played on 9/10 April, the second legs on 16/17 April.
• The semi-final first legs will be played 30 April/1 May, the second legs on 7/8 May
• The final will be played on Saturday 1 June at the Estadio Metropolitano in  Madrid.
