Jay Bowdy was an up-coming popular actor from Texas killed himself Monday in North Hollywood while broadcasting on Facebook’s livestream. On Thursday morning, days prior to his death, Bowdy was arrested in Santa Clarita on the suspicion of s*xual assault. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Sgt. Janice Banks reported that he was released on Friday after posting $100,000 bail.
Jay Bowdy ‘s Biography
Jay Bowdy was born on August 26, 1983 in San Antonio, Texas, USA. Jay attended Trimble Tech High School located in the south section of Fort Worth, Texas.
It was also recorded to have attended Southwestern Christian College and University of West Georgia; receiving Associates and Bachelors from the respective schools. He would later attend University of Texas in Arlington to receive his Masters.
He has TWO kids, first of two children of Lisa (Felton), and Frederick Eugene Bowdy. And his wife, Whitney.

Frederick Jay Bowdy, 33, went on Facebook at around 5.30am and announced to his followers that he was going to end his life. A family member from out of state saw Bowdy’s livestream and called the Los Angeles Police asking them to perform a welfare check.
Officers were sent out to track down Bowdy, but by the time they found him sitting in a car near Crumpston Street and Fulcher Avenue, he had already killed himself, reported Los Angeles Times.
Facebook user Meco Harden described in graphic detail Jay Bowdy’s final moments.
‘His voice. His pain. His tears. Everything he said. Thr [sic] sound of him pulling that trigger and hearing his blood pouring messed me up!’ he wrote in a comment. ‘I will NEVER forget that sound. Shook me to my core.’

Livestream Video of Jay Bowdy’s final moments
Users on Facebook who viewed the video expressed shock and sadness, and some wondered if it was a hoax since Bowdy was an actor. The video was later removed by Facebook, according to the company.
