Guidelines on How to Re-Submit your BVN (Bank Verification Number) to other bank you hold an Account with

The question now is; What is next step to take after the BVN Registration?

  1. It you are an account holder of more than 1 (one) bank here in Nigeria, for example you have an account with GTbank, Zenith Bank, Fidelity Bank, etc. All you have to do is go to one of the banks to register for the BVN (Bank Verification Number)
  2. You will receive a message (SMS) from the bank you did the registration. What they will be sending to you is the BVN (Bank Verification Number),
  3. Now go to other banks where you are an account holder, tell them you want to “Submit your BVN to the bank”. The will give you a special form for that. Please note that BVN registration form is always different from the BVN submission form.
  4. Fill the form and submit to them again. Note: in the form you will be asked your; Account Full name, email address, types of account and account number, your BVN (Bank Verification Number) you got from other bank, and some times name of bank you got the BVN (Bank Verification Number) from.

This process do not require you wasting much time in the bank. Only the BVN (Bank Verification Number) registration takes time. But to resubmit, you just collect the form, fill it and then submit and you will be asked to go.
