The United States Embassy in Nigeria has reveal a new visa renewal regime for applicants.
At a News Briefing in Abuja, the Chief Consular, Carol Cox, said the Embassy’s new method was to enable applicants renew their Visas without difficulty.
She said the United States Embassy has recorded an increase of forty-five percent Visa application over the past year.
Mrs. Carol Cox also said students who had not been previously denied Visa in the past six months, could apply for emergency appointments after ensuring that the required fees have been paid.
The Information officer in the Consular Section, Rhonda Ferguson-Augustus, warned applicants against patronizing touts and fraudsters claiming to be working for the embassy.
The consular Section has also urged all American citizens residing in Nigeria to renew their passports before expiration to avoid delays.
