How to Create an Instagram Business Account
Step 1: Log in to your Instagram account. You can log in either from an Instagram App or website (www.instagram.com).

Step 2: Click on your profile picture icon, then select “Settings” from the option list.
Step 3: You should see loads of menu lists. But scroll to the bottom and click on the “Switch to Professional Account“
Read through the informative page, then click on the “Continue” button to proceed.
Step 4: Next page will request you to describe yourself, whether you’re a Creator (which is best for public figures, content producers, artists and influencers) or Business (also best for retailers, local businesses, brands, organizations and service providers). Then click on the “Next” button to proceed.
Step 5: Then select a category that best describes your kind of business. In most cases, you might not find the exact category for your business, but even at that make sure to select something more relevant and related.
Sometimes you may not want the category to be seen on your profile, for that reason Instagram made it possible to toggle off the feature(after selecting your business category).
Step 6: Review your contact details if there is any need to edit or add more information in the field missing.
Step 7: Connect your Facebook account. It is important to do so to get more audience from both sides, and it becomes whenever you intend to run an ad.
Step 8: You will get a “Welcome” page with your name on the page. But doesn’t end there. However, the remaining steps are very similar to creating a Facebook Business or Fans Page – see article here.
